RetroWebMatic

RetroWebMatic was a fairly silly personal site that mimics vintage photo effect apps such as Instagram and Hipstamatic on websites through the magic JavaScript, jQuery and CSS3.

The site achieved some viral success receiving over 16,000 page views in it’s first week. It has been featured on the B3TA Newsletter, spent some time on the funny page of Reddit and has since been picked up by a number of other sites around the world including:

The site was been designed so that people could share links that go straight to specific “Retrofied” websites by copying a specially formed URL, or posting it directly onto Twitter.
